Easy Homemade Mustache Wax Recipes

Mustache has gone from being a sign of manliness to being attractive. In order to maintain your magnificent mustache in the right form, you need to give it time and attention and apply the right products. Waxes and oils are common treatments for mustaches. They not only make you seem well-groomed, but they also aid in hair growth.

What is Mustache Wax?

It is called wax but is more of a thick cream that you can apply to your mustache hair. You may mold and style your mustache as you please after you apply the wax to your mustache hair. Not just the shape, the mustache wax provides nutrition for the hair to grow healthier and faster.

The wax comes in a variety of different flavors that smell good and some of them even have a tin included so you may customize your color and form.

Why Make Your Own Mustache Wax?

While there are many different flavored mustache wax on the market, making it at home is really easy. The trend of developing your own beauty items has just as much history behind it as the fashion of growing a mustache. The benefits of making your own beauty treatments are numerous, including the fact that they are cheap and devoid of any chemicals.

The most important thing that you need for making your own mustache wax is some good quality beeswax. Beeswax can be found in many places, but if you want to save money, then buy it from your local beekeeper. In addition, you will require some oils and essential oils like eucalyptus oil, tea tree oil, peppermint oil, lavender oil, etc. of your choice. So check out these quick recipes below.

Vaseline, Coconut oil, and Beeswax Recipe

While the debate over vaseline usage rages on, you may use organic petroleum jelly of some good quality for this version. All you have to do is combine the components at a certain temperature and then store it for daily use.

Here’s what you’ll need:

2 tbs of Coconut oil

2 tbs of Beeswax

2 tbs Vaseline or petroleum jelly

Burner for heat to melt the ingredients together

A glass jar to fill your mustache wax when ready

A saucepan for the mixing process

Follow these easy steps:

In a saucepan, heat the coconut oil and beeswax until they’re completely melted. Keep the burner on until the oil and wax have mixed thoroughly. Add the vaseline to the mix next. Vaseline ensures that you receive a wax that maintains your mustache’s suppleness while it is still slightly rigid. Continue stirring slowly so that the three ingredients mix well. Once you see no lumps or solids turn off the heat and pour the mixture into the glass jar. Allow it to cool before you can apply.

This mustache wax probably costs you less than 7 bucks and a few minutes of your time!

Mustache Wax with Essential Oil of Your Choice

Here’s what you’ll need:

2 tbsp of Coconut oil

2 tbsp of Beeswax

Few drops of Essential oil of your choice

A pot and a mixing bowl

Burner or stove to heat

Follow these easy steps:

For this recipe, we will need to make a double boiler so that we can melt the ingredients at lower heat. So in the pot place fill water up to an inch and then place the mixing bowl, this will ensure indirect heat applies to our recipe. Melting the wax slowly will also ensure that it does not make your mustache wax too stiff.

Add two tablespoons of beeswax and let it melt. After the wax has melted completely, add two scoops of coconut oil and continue mixing until smooth.

After the oil and beeswax have combined, fill the glass jar with the liquid, add a few drops of essential oil to it, and then seal.

It is advised to allow the mixture to cool and solidify completely before use.

There are a few notes:

You can adjust the amount of essential oil to your liking.

If you are experiencing issues with dandruff, tea tree oil is a good option.

Avoid overcooking the entire batch; if you do, you may end up with hard mustache wax.

Mustache Wax with Mustard Oil

Here’s what you’ll need:

2 tbsp of Mustard oil

2 tbsp of Beeswax

A saucepan

Burner or stove to heat

Follow these easy steps:

For this recipe, we’ll need a double boiler. If you have one at home, use it; if not, construct one as we did in our previous recipe.

Melt the wax in the double boiler and then pour the mustard oil in it stirring slowly. Mix the two thoroughly and pour them into a jar leaving it untouched until it cools.

Mustard oil is wonderful for hair and skin, but this mustache wax may appear greasy or have a strong odor when compared to other recipes.

There are a few notes:

If you want to experiment, try adding a few drops of essential oil.

You may use a lesser amount of mustard oil than is recommended if you like..

Do not overheat the recipe

Finally, in the end
